I'll just say his mom and sister went to the movie and during "Fixer Upper" they counted on their fingers everything the trolls said about Kristoff that related to Christopher, they ran out of fingers they were just alike lol.
Yes! I'll be hand embroidering his Sami patterns on his cummerbund sash. I just didn't because I made his costume about a week before this convention we went to and I didn't want to have only a tiny portion of it done, so I had to leave that detail off. D: But now I have plenty of time to study the pattern and embroider it accordingly It will be tons of work haha!
I'd love to go there someday! Italy, Norway, Germany and a few other European places are something I must see! California has its ups and downs...fortunately I live in a real nice city. (Northern California seems to be more woodsy and safe while Southern is more city and lots of things happening there oh oh and Disneyland!) The nature here can be great! We have a place called Mt. Shasta and its quite beautiful there, also Lake Tahoe.
Cool! I have not traveled very far outside Scandinavia before, but are for first time ("in forever") traveling to Italy - Venice, this Sunday! So exited! America is on my travel list. So much to see and experience, and Disney land would be awesome! Lake Tahoe looks awesome, so images on google, beautiful nature!
Aw thank you for the kind compliment. I was totally overshadowed by my bf when we went to the con dressed as this, everyone just loves Kristoff! lol (I hope my Elsa doesn't get overshadowed though lol)
I have to embroider the design on Kristoff's Sash and add stuff to the red strips on his shoulders, I'm remaking his shirt because it REFUSED to dye teal and I'll probably be making him a "fake reindeer hide" messenger bag (dont tell Kristoff lol) at some point to carry his carrots it
Right now I call his costume "Kristoff doll from the Disney Store" because it looks exactly like the doll there lol and not as detailed as it is in the movie.
Amazing Sewing- and Cosplays-skills and so open and kind as to take time to answer to every comment, you already made my day Do you plan to do the embroiding in your own design or 100% fitting to the original? It seems very detailed to me but if I take a look at your Rapunzel Cosplay you seem very good at it. I'm still way too slow at sewing and sometimes wish I could borrow Cinderella's mice-friends
Aw thank you that's so sweet of you to say! I try to get to everyone's comments on here best I can but life can be busy sometimes so I take longer than I mean to! I made your day? YAY!
I plan to embroider 100% off the character, I try to make it as accurate as possible to the character's original design. It's a time consuming process but I'm proud when people ask if I hand embroidered it and I say yes! Luckily, my Kristoff actually can embroider too so he's agreed to work on his sash with me so we can get it done! Funny story about Rapunzel, I took it to Disneyland and showed the Rapunzel and Flynn Rider there my embroidery work and Flynn Rider asked me "Have you been locked in a tower for 18 years too?" BEST. DAY. EVER!
OMG lol I can TOTALLY relate to wanting little helper mice who sing and sew and make cosplay all around more enjoyable lol.
